Neal starts a new series looking at key themes in the book of Ephesians.
We looked at Ephesians chapter 2 vs 1-3 and God`s great plan for our lives. We looked at our position before we were saved and how far God has brought us to salvation and what an amazing salvation we have.
1. Paul is adamant that we were “dead” in our trepasses and sins – why is this so important for us to understand. Perhaps we were just very sick?
2. What do we understand by Paul`s use of the term “the course of this world”?
3. Do we understand what is meant by “original sin” and that we are ” sons of disobedience” and “children of wrath”? Why is this such an important point?
4. Why is the “virgin birth” and “being born again” such a vital part of our understanding?
5. God has placed his spirirt within us when we are born again – how do we know that is the case and what does that mean for us in our day to day lives?
6. God has done an amazing work of grace in our lives – do we always fell that way and what can we do to make sure our hearts are ever thankful?
