Dave continues to outline the vision for Church In The Peak for 2010 by looking at faith that changes things.

At the end of the recording are a couple of words from Phil Hardy. Please listen to them and prayerfully consider if they apply to you.

PRAYER POINTS

Here are some key themes we can follow as we meet together this week when prayer is the primary activity. Please do give time to it.

Worship is the context in which we can hear God and see with the eyes of faith. So this would be the place to start. ‘Our Father’ would be a great focus to bring

Pray for increased faith; for eyes to see into the unseen realm, that we might have the Spirit of wisdom and revelation so that the eyes of our heart are enlightened to know Jesus better (Eph 1:17)

Pray for His Kingdom to come here on the earth and to be seen in salvation being wrought by the Spirit of God as we step out to share about Jesus and a new life . Jesus said we are good weather forecasters and are good at reading the signs and that we can also forecast when the harvest is due (4 months more) but He said “open your eyes now and look at the fields – they are ripe for harvest” . Pray for a harvest and a now time for salvation.

Pray for a corporate united faith to believe for healing and miracles in our meetings. “ I tell you the truth anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing” John 14:12 . Jesus says ‘I tell you the truth’ when he knows we will struggle to believe!! Lets press boldly into the promise for healing and miracles

Lets pray and ask not just for individuals to be affected and blessed by God’s presence, lets pray for our towns and villages to be blessed and changed by God. This is His desire to change the social fabric of our nation and is the affect of true revival. Duncan Campbell said “Revival is a community saturated with God” – yes a whole community!
