29th January 2012 - Neal Garratt - It's All Greek To Me: Tongues And Interpretation

Neal spoke from 1 Corinthians 12:1-13, continuing our studies on the Holy Spirit. In particular, Neal focused on tongues and their interpretation and how God does not want us to be confused by them.

22nd January 2012 - Dave Harper - The Coming Of The Holy Spirit (on us as individuals)

15th January 2012 - Dave Harper - Coming Of The Holy Spirit (on us as a church)

Dave spoke from Acts 2:1-13 explaining that God’s annointing was something that had happened, on occasion, to individuals in the Old Testament. However, when the Holy Spirit comes in the New Testament, he comes for everyone. The Holy Spirit comes to give us power for mission.

18th December 2011 - Christmas Carol Service

Our 2011 Christmas Carol Service had readings, carols, a choir, a children’s drama, testimony and Neal preaching about “the sweet news of Christmas” (much to the delight of children young and old in the congregation). All this was washed down with copious quantities of tea, coffee and mince pies.

11th December 2011 - Phil Hardy - Jesus, God's Amazing Gift

This year has been a turning point for the church. In recent months, we have been hearing about revivals. Revivals die down when people concentrate on phenomena rather than Jesus. Phil spoke from John 1:1-18, about Jesus, God’s amazing gift to the world.
