Kidzone is the children's work for 5-11 year olds and meets every Sunday morning at County Hall from approx 10:45 to the end of the meeting (approx 12:15). The morning aims to provide the children with lots of fun as they take part in energetic games, competitions and other activities but also to teach them about God in an interesting way using stories, songs, drama and videos.

The vision of the work is to see not only the children of church families learning about and experiencing God as they are discipled but also to have local children coming.

During the Autumn Term 2011 we will be looking at some of the stories that Jesus told using various interactive story-telling methods and will also continue looking at some of the early Psalms.

KidZone is also involved in other events such as recent family fun days in Matlock park which were organised by Matlock churches together and various events put on by our community groups.

KidZone is led by Chris & Harriet Cookman.

Church in the Peak has a child protection policy which is available on request.  All our workers are trained in child protection and key workers have a current CRB check.
