Church in Buxton

Tim and Rebecca Davies moved to Buxton in September 1997 to join Church in the Peak and to lead the church plant in Buxton. We started meeting as a small group in the week in October 1997 and started meeting on Sundays in the town the following year. Now we meet every Sunday in Buxton Community School, College Road SK17 9EA at 10:30am. We have people coming to us from Leek, Whalley Bridge and from some of the smaller villages around the town.



We are still very much part of Church in the Peak because of friendships across the church and because of a common mission to see churches planted across the area and beyond.

The church is based around Sunday meetings and small groups that meet in homes. We also have children’s activities on a Sunday morning and a youth group for secondary aged young people on a Friday night.
