Enjoying the presence of God

 

Church in the Peak is a church built on friendship with a family feel for people of all ages.  We want to see God change lives in the towns and villages of the Peak District and the surrounding area.

In 1987 a few people began meeting together in a home; we now draw around 300 people from a wide area stretching from Buxton down to Belper and from Ashbourne across to Chesterfield.  Church life is expressed in community groups which meet in homes across the area during the week and on Sundays the church meets in Buxton, Chesterfield and Matlock.

Our vision is to see the love of God demonstrated in kindness and compassion leading us to start new churches across the Peak District and beyond.

Our midweek groups currently meet in Ashbourne, Bakewell, Buxton, Chesterfield, Darley Dale and Matlock.
